Location: Washington, DC
Term: FULL TIME; 40 Hours per week
Job Description:
Develop architectural designs for residential and commercial projects within set parameters.
Sketch, model, and create other graphic presentations to demonstrate program and space planning concepts to clients in schematic design.
Develop technical construction drawings to meet jurisdictional permit requirements and provide basis for construction budget.
Research and specify construction materials, finishes and fixtures.
Understand current building and energy codes.
Utilize skills/tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements:
A US Bachelor of Architecture Degree/foreign equivalent degree.
Registered Architect, or on path to licensure.
Will work in Washington, DC. Must have the authority to work permanently in the U.S.
