Aggregate led the design team on the meticulous restoration of a 1969 home by modern architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen known as the Trentman House. The award-winning home was originally featured in Architectural Record Houses May 1969 , and is a rare example of a modern home with a historic easement. The home was completely gutted in order to add modern insulation and mechanical systems, and to correct serious water intrusion issues and mold damage. Aggregate utilized building science and sophisticated details to preserve the minimalist aesthetic while bringing the home upto 21st Century standards for lighting, energy and ventilation.
